Just making an update for anyone who’s curious, my video making has slowed down for now because, as I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m moving soon! And its getting serious now >_<
So currently I’m in the process of selling my condo, which admittedly, hasn’t been going as well as I hoped, obviously it’s a sellers market but not a buyers market so I’m not sure what will happen, I’ve only had 3 showings in the past 2 weeks, so I’m kind of just trying to get through that portion of the moving checklist before I can start booking plane tickets and such things. As a result though I haven’t been able to focus on content, it’s been kind of sporadic so leech girl part 8 won’t be out by the end of this month, I would like to have it out sometime in August but that depends on how smoothly things go in the next several weeks. I have a LOT to do still before I can get my butt on a plane.
The goal is to move across Canada mid-september, potentially late august since one of the showings asked for a september 1st move in, honestly atm I have no idea when I will be packing up and leaving its kinda up in the air and the time crunch is closing in so my anxiety is not great lol. Number one thing I’m worried about though is my cats, I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get two cats across the country as safely as possible as someone who can’t drive. Side note to vent, literally no plane or train or anything allows more than 1 pet per person it is so freaking irritating, you’d think that it would be more common that people have more than one animal, especially for cat people, im sure lots of people have bonded cats but ugh, idk. You’d think the train would allow it. I’m just very annoyed at that.
So far I think the cats will unfortunately be going in the cargo hold, unless i get another body in the seat for them to both be in cabin, but I don’t want to pay all that money for a return trip ticket for someone else to come with me, its cheaper to go cargo, and instead I’m gonna spend the extra money on a pet assistance agency, there’s one that works with airlines to help with moving pets so thats my best bet rn. Other than that I’m at a stagnant point where I just need to get an offer for this place so I can start doing the rest of my moving checklist. Everything else should be fairly simple I think, its just planning the plane ride and getting the cats sorted that has me the most stressed out. I’m only going to be renting when I move too so I’m not too worried about that, I’ve already found several places that if they are still available should work for me.
Also I just want to say since I’m talking about the financial side of things, just a huge massive supernova of a thank you to all my members and patrons, especially since all this moving stuff puts my brain into a void and I haven’t been working as steadily as I wish I was rn. The fact that you guys are so patient and supportive means everything, and once I’m moved and settled everything should be able to get back in order for me. You guys are the whole reason I can leave, I’m immensely grateful!!! And this goes to all my regular viewers too, still watching my older videos and patiently waiting for more, I appreciate it so much!
I’ll talk a bit about where I’m at with content, leech girl 8 has all the lines it’s just not edited yet, it’s the next public video to come out when I can lock in again. And for $5 members I’ve finished writing the wolf spider audio from the last poll (I think it’s gonna be another 40min-1hr long audio), and for $10 members I’ve still just planning an alien audio for you guys, its not written yet though cause even before the showings started I was getting a bit stumped. Otherwise I’m planning on livestreaming a public livestream tomorrow on the channel, just playing a new game I got called Pit Of Goblin, and I can answer questions and chat as well. The stream will be at 5:00pm cst. I’m also going to have another members livestream the next saturday, since I missed Julys stream, I’ll be doing it between July and August then, and we can catch up there too for anyone who wants to talk with me about stuff without the game being the focus. The members live will be open to free members too if anyone wants to tune in as well. I’ve otherwise have a CYOA project in the works that I’ve gotten the first plans for it drafted!
I think that’s really all I wanted to say for now, I’ll keep updating on how moving is going as its going, of course I gotta plug the discord cause I can talk about stuff there too more frequently in the vc chat. I’m pretty sure the link tree is in the about section on the channel, otherwise it’s in every video description. I can’t in good faith plug the patreon and memberships since I’m not posting rn guh. And in addition to my thank you earlier, I should probably apologize too, the move is taking a toll on me but I want to keep working on stuff amidst it all and I’m trying, but I’m sorry that I haven’t been, I blame my brain a lot but its still my brain and I have to make this motherfucker WORK for me somehow sometimes RAH! I know the inspo and the creativity will come yet it’s just not there right now. Only stress. And yeah, I never know how to end these. I’ve noticed quite a few asmrtists have moved lately actually, some stars must have aligned or something lol. I guess to end this, how are you guys doing? Anyone else moving too?
